Our Mission

Our mission is to create an environment that promotes educational achievement, encourages goal setting, teaches teamwork skills, and builds self-esteem in individuals of all ages. We provide unique, hands-on, authentic learning experiences and positive role models. All of our programs, classes, and experiences are based on five core values:

The Douglas Space and Science Center will be a public, year-round, hands-on science center, offering authentic STEM learning experiences to students ages 3-103. Click here to learn how you make this center a reality for Weber County!

Overnight Camps–Registration now open

Missions to the Moon. Rockets. Astronaut Training. Neutral buoyancy and weightlessness training. Engineering projects. Stay overnight, work in a team, and have the time of your life at a summer space camp!

Virtual Field Trips and Classroom Visits

Students will experience exciting, immersive space and physics classes from our SEEd aligned Science Center curriculum, or assume the role of a mission specialist on a lunar mission simulation! Remote and in-person classroom experiences available.
